British Museum - The Queen Elizabeth II Great Court, London

Designed by Foster & Partners, the Elizabeth II Great Court was one of London’s key Millennium Projects delivered on time and to budget.
Funded by The Millennium Commission, Heritage Lottery Fund & numerous private donations, the project involved the refurbishment of the world famous round Reading Room and creation of a new large public space at the heart of the Museum.
The inner Courtyard, spanned by the 600m2 glass roof, is one of the largest covered public squares in Europe.
Northcroft provided Cost Planning, Fund Application services and Commercial Monitoring of the construction management trade contracts.
