Northcroft has been helping to build better health for over ninety years and our extensive track record includes projects of every size, from small block capital funded schemes to major PFI hospitals.
We work in all aspects of health: acute, primary and mental health care, as well as national initiatives such as ProCure 21. Our experience comprises new build district hospitals, medical centres, hospices, extensions to existing hospitals and refurbishment of medical wards, accident and emergency units, support facilities and staff accommodation. We appreciate the need to maintain service delivery throughout.
Having provided much of the cost data upon which NHS Departmental Cost Allowance Guides have been based, Northcroft is particularly well placed to assist in strategic, outline and full business case preparation, to help generate public sector comparators or to analyse and critique submissions from PFI consortia. We understand the NHS Capital Investment Manual and associated procedures and keep pace with the changes to them.
We act as technical advisors to clients embarking on PFI healthcare projects in UK and elsewhere in Europe and have also been involved with hospital building and engineering services maintenance programmes.
